The painting titled Song of the Dawn depicts a small imaginary bird, symbolizing the transition from night to dawn. This work invites the viewer to contemplate the dialogue between light and darkness in a world filled with magic and poetry.
Against a backdrop of blue and green hues, an octagonal door opens onto a deep and mysterious night. This opening reveals a golden full moon at the center of the space, bathed in the soft light of stars scattered around it.
Through this gap, nature seems to invite itself in. A singular branch, adorned with bilobed leaves or flowers resembling those of the ginkgo, gently imposes itself. These imaginary leaves stand out with their bright whiteness, bold black veins, and a small, vibrant yellow dot in their center.
Around this branch, other fantastic plants rise, illuminating the scene with their shimmering hues: white, blue, purple, and gold. They reinforce the impression that light is gradually extending, conquering the darkness.
It is on this branch that our bird appears, a majestic hunter of darkness. Its plumage, a mix of orange, green, blue, pink, and purple, evokes a palette both vibrant and harmonious. A small black heart adorns its chest, a simple yet touching detail. Its fan-shaped tail features eye-like markings similar to those of a peacock, adding a touch of grandeur and mystery to its appearance.
Firmly perched, the bird seems ready to sing. Each note promises to push the moon away, erase the night, and gently guide us out of this dream... into the dawn.
