Thought :
You feel this force deep within your being. But you don’t know how to bring it out or express it. Don’t get frustrated. You need time. The experiences in your life will one day be the ones that will allow this force to be released.
The painting *Deep inside* embodies an inner quest, the search for our true essence, the latent forces within us, sometimes obscured by our doubts or fears.
The background depicts an enigmatic forest, oscillating between the marvelous and the unsettling. Its brown-violet hues, shrouded in dense mist, create a mysterious atmosphere. The silhouettes of bare trees, likely in winter, add to the scene's sense of desolation and silence, as if time itself were suspended. These still, almost ghostly trunks symbolize the obstacles or frozen memories scattered along our inner path.
A strange bluish barrier covers the lower half of the trees, forming a translucent veil that distorts the vision and creates an otherworldly atmosphere. This ethereal wall, dotted with icy reflections, could represent the fears and doubts that cloud our perception, making access to our truths more complex and intimidating.
The entrance to this forest is guarded by a line of dark plants and flowers in black and blue tones. These plants, both beautiful and cold, seem to invite yet discourage, as a test for anyone daring to proceed. Their icy aesthetic reinforces the impression of a place on the border between the real and the fantastic, a passage into the unknown.
At the center of the painting, a large golden disk illuminates the composition. Its bright, warm light contrasts sharply with the surrounding dark tones. It seems to act as a guide or promise, a divine or inner light calling the protagonist forward, despite her doubts.
The young redhead, at the edge of this forest, embodies the universal hesitation in the face of the unknown. Her movement, almost nervous, evokes an inner struggle, as though she is weighing the courage needed to face her fears and explore these mysterious woods.
Her red hair, swept by a strange wind blowing from behind her, suggests an external or internal force attempting to prevent her from seeing the truth. Her lowered gaze and closed expression betray her hesitation, even anxiety, about what she might discover.
Her attributes, such as the solar tattoo on her forehead and the serpent-shaped bracelet around her wrist, are rich in symbolism. The serpent, a universal symbol of transformation and rebirth, suggests a path toward profound evolution, while the sun on her forehead may represent the light of consciousness or inner clarity that she seeks to attain.
She wears a white tunic adorned with delicate red vegetal decorations, a striking contrast to the darkness of the forest. This garment, evoking purity or an initiatory ritual, suggests that she is preparing to enter a sacred space where she hopes to find answers, buried treasures, or spiritual healing.
The painting reflects a universal inner journey: the journey of self-acceptance. It illustrates that in order to unlock our deep power and find peace, we must face the darker aspects of ourselves—our fears, doubts, and flaws—but also recognize our strengths and potential.
Entering this mysterious forest thus becomes a powerful metaphor for introspection: a courageous act of self-confrontation that can ultimately lead to transformation and liberation.
