Thought :
Every day is a new beginning. You have the opportunity to decide that this day that is born is the beginning of a new adventure, to take life from a different perspective. You may feel like you have failed along the way, but that is not true. Each experience lived has become the tools that you have in your hands today to build something new.
The painting "Every day is a new beginning" represents a cosmic and spiritual scene, where the vastness of the universe serves as a backdrop for a reflection on resilience and renewal. The dark background is traversed by swirling bluish and whitish mists, evoking galaxies or the Milky Way. More pronounced glowing points, representing stars, enhance the celestial dimension.
At the base of the painting, plants with white or gray leaves rise, grounding this vision in a terrestrial plane, as if to connect the cosmos to human life.
At the center of the composition is the upper part of the bust of a young woman with dark, shoulder-length hair, dotted with small white points reminiscent of stars. This detail gives the figure an ethereal aura, linking her to the surrounding universe. With her eyes closed, she appears deeply meditative, embodying serenity and introspection. Beneath her left eye, a small black heart is tattooed, and a solar symbol adorns her forehead, strengthening the connection between inner light and rebirth. The same solar motif appears on the shoulder of her red tunic, adding a touch of warmth and strength.
From the young woman emerges branches of ginkgo biloba, with fan-shaped leaves unfolding gracefully. These branches illustrate different stages of life: some leaves, in bright orange and red hues, symbolize youth and vitality, while others, in shades of gray-blue and yellow, seem faded or fading, almost merging with the vastness of space.
The ginkgo biloba, this ancient tree, is a central symbol here. Representing perseverance, renewal, and experience, it embodies the ability to overcome adversity and be reborn after hardship. This legendary tree, capable of surviving the most extreme conditions, including the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, becomes a model of resilience and strength.
This painting celebrates the idea that, just like the ginkgo, we have within us the ability to be reborn after failure and challenges. The leaves emerging from the figure, both young and aging, remind us that every past experience enriches our present and prepares us for a promising future. The painting is an invitation to view each day as an opportunity to begin anew, armed with the wisdom gained from the journey thus far.
