Sharing her sighs, a painting of deep connections beyond words

My sighs are sometimes inexpressible. But you, my soul, do not need words to understand them. You know what they mean, you feel their intensity.
The painting "Sharing Sighs" immerses the viewer in a fantastical universe imbued with silence and spirituality. The work juxtaposes ethereal and intense visual elements, creating a harmonious tension between lightness and depth.
The upper and lower sections of the painting feature a misty background in shades of light blue and white. These hues evoke a floating, almost unreal space where the boundaries between sky and earth dissolve. Plants with white leaves, either suspended or reaching toward infinity, heighten this spatial ambiguity, making it difficult to discern up from down and blurring conventional markers.
In striking contrast, the central area is tinted with deep red and black, suggesting emotional intensity or restrained energy. A white mist rising around the central figure seems to embody a deep, liberating sigh, symbolizing inner peace or spiritual connection.
Seated cross-legged, the young woman at the heart of the composition exudes palpable serenity. Flanked by vases with tribal patterns, she represents a figure of wisdom and balance. Her long black hair, adorned with two delicate floral bouquets—one white, the other in shades of blue and green—emphasizes her connection to nature and vital energy. The small black heart tattooed under her eye hints at emotional sensitivity, a marker of her ability to feel and share the unspoken.
